Like many questionable decisions made in your twenties, our story starts at the infamous Bogies in Westlake.One night, I walked over to say hi to our mutual friend, Ryan, and noticed a guy sitting next to him. I asked, "Who's your friend?" Apparently, the second I walked away, Noah asked Ryan the exact same thing about me, and Ryan decided it was time to make the introduction.From the second we met, the banter never stopped. Noah had his classic "too cool" attitude and smooth-talker reputation, and I had absolutely no intention of making things easy for him. Somehow, my sarcasm and his confidence turned into nonstop laughter, and we've been giving each other a hard time ever since.As our relationship grew, we kept discovering how ridiculously close we'd come to meeting long before that night. Our families knew the same people, we had mutual friends everywhere, and somehow we were always just one connection away from crossing paths. Looking back, it's honestly a miracle we didn't meet sooner.Now our families are becoming one, our dogs have somehow become the center of our universe, and we're building a life together that is better than either of us could have imagined. It turns out all it took was one introduction at Bogies, a little sarcastic flirting, and two people who were finally in the right place at the right time.
